Latest word about Bishop Mark MacDonald is that the surgery on Friday was successful in removing the infected area. He is feeling much stronger and is even talking about being in Navajoland for Easter. He was having some swelling of the leg, but that is normal after surgery.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

I ask your prayers for Patty Iron Cloud, a faithful churchwoman from Pine Ridge.  She collapsed in a shop in Washington DC last Thurday.  She is hospitalized in Bethesda, MD and is seriously ill.  Some members of her family and her Hunka relatives are with her.

THE MEETING DATE FOR THE EPISCOPAL WOMEN'S COUNCIL HAS BEEN CHANGED ONCE AGAIN>    Saturday, April 28, 2007 from 10:00 to 2:00 at Al's Oasis, Oacoma (near Chamberlain).

The change was necessary as our Facilitator, Barbara Oates will be attending The task Force meeting on April 14, as well as the sending off event for Karen Hall on Friday evening, April 13. in Sioux Falls.  She is representing Women's Ministries in SD.

There are many important issues on the agenda.  It is hoped a goodly number of women will be there!
