From Fr. John Spruhan: From October 20 through November 4. Mo. Judy Spruhan has been invited to be part of a nation wide team of Diabetes Educators who are making a People to People Ambassador trip to China. Fr. John is also planning on going as a guest. He has had a life long interest in Chinese history and culture. They are looking for clergy to help cover the Rosebud Episcopal Mission for part of this period, and willing to stay in their home in Rosebud while covering. There will be backup help from Fr. Webster Two Hawk and Fr. Philip Allen who live in White River and Mission respectively. Sunday services will need covering on October 21, 28, and November 4. If interested, email Fr. John at RevDrWho@ aol.com or call 747-5927.

Comments: Thank you for all your prayers for my Mom. She is out of the hospital and on the road to recovery. The surgery went well and the test results were good news. No cancer or any sign of tuberculosis or valley fever. Apparently some time this past winter, Mom had pneumonia that never blew up into a full scale case. The pneumonia sat sedentary which caused all the inflammation in the chest cavity. Mom asked me to tell you how much it meant to her to know that she was in your prayers and to thank you for the e-mails and the cards.
