My Dear Inez:

I received word of Bill's death while I was at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester over the holidays.  Please know that the prayers of the Robertson family will be with you and your family in the time ahead.

Bill was a wonderful and very funny man!  I remember attending a Diocesan Convention at St. Martin's near Rapid City a while back.  Bill and I along with Fr. Harnsberger, Fr. Wilson, and a few others.  When I was getting into my bed, I found that someone had short sheeted my bed and when he heard my toes pop he began to laugh!!  It was a great time.

I also remember working with Bill on a number of Cursillo weekends.  The one at the Roman Catholic school in Mitchell was a great one.  Bill and I were standing together singing on Saturday night and we began to sing out of tune  and we laughed so hard we had to leave the chorus line until we could get back in tune!  Those were great times.

I also remember participating in a skit with Bill honoring Bishop Walter.  That was wonderful.  I also remember you in a clergy shirt that evening, that was before women were ordained in this Diocese!  What a great night.

I am saddened that Ann and I will not be able to attend the Memorial Service for my friend Bill.  We will be on our way out to Rapid City on Saturday for a meeting and services at Emmanuel on Sunday.  Know that our prayers with be offered for you and your family and for the repose of the soul of our dear friend, Bill

May his soul rest in peace.

Epiphany Blessings

Ann and Creighton

Dear Tom:

Thank you for the report on Wendy's health; we appreciate it very much.  Please know that we will keep Wendy in our prayers and will pray for her every day at 10 AM, when we meet for Morning Prayers together.

I certainly hope that she is able to recover; she was wonderful as a minister to the youth of this Diocese.

Please tell Wendy that I think of her often, and wish her a speedy recovery, and that my prayers will be with you both during this season of Christmas.

Advent and Christmas Blessings.
