Sown in the Heart of Christ, the 2008 Episcopal Youth Event (EYE) is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8 – Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Trinity University, San Antonio, TX

This is for young people who have just finished grades 9-12 in 2008. EYE aims to inspire and empower youth as Christian apostles, and is designed to be an immersion experience in the baptismal covenant and to extend the mission and ministry of the Church. 

Registration materials will be mailed to each diocesan office by 9/30/07. Registration begins in October and closes May 1, 2008. Participants will need to go through the diocesan coordinator for detailed information and to register, and diocesan sponsors must accompany diocesan groups attending EYE. The cost is $480 per person, excluding travel.

Prayers are requested for the family of Diane Fallis who passed away this week.  The funeral will be Saturday at Christ Church - Ft. Thompson.  Diane was a long time, faithful member of Christ Church.
