Those who have seen The Rev. Canon Dr. Robert Wagner (Canon to the Ordinary) in the past few weeks know that he has been in alot of pain, presumably from a fall several weeks ago. As time went by and the pain did not lessen, he suspected something else. A series of tests in the past couple days confirmed a resurgence of his lymphoma. He has immediately started a regimen of chemotherapy. The prospects are very positive, and he would very much appreciate being kept in prayer.

Comments: Many folks in SD may remember the Reverend George and Kathy Benson, who served in Rapid City and Aberdeen a few years ago. I performed the Marriage ceremony for their daughter Sarah when she married Chris Livermont at the Cathedral in Sf. Chris and Sarah have two children, Tyler age 3 (almost) and Hannah age 14 months. Sometime over the past 10 days, Hannah and Tyler contract a particularly severe strand of ecoli infection. They are in Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, receiving treatment for their medical condition, which is deemed very serious. Hannah is on continuous dialysis and now has pancreatitis and will continue on an insulin drip for a period of time. I believe her condition medically is "guarded." Tyler is experiencing the same conditions as Hannah. His kidneys have not shut down as of today, nor does he have the pancreatitis difficulty as yet. However, he is continuing to "hold" liquid and is being given medication to remove that liquid. The recovery time for both children is extensive and may be as long as 4 months. The Grandparents are Larry and Sherry Livermont from Martin and George and Kathy Benson from Lincoln, NE. Chris and Sarah live in Brookings. Also helping to keep watch is the aunt of the children, Tiffany (Livermont) . I have been visiting them since my return from the Diocese of Georgia. The entire family is staying near Sioux Valley Hospital and taking turns keeping watch over Tyler and Hannah. Please pray for Tyler and Hannah Livermont in their distress, asking God to relieve them and offer to them His healing grace. Pray for Chris and Sarah in their distress as they watch over their children. Pray as well for the grandparents and aunt who are present as well. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayers . . . Peace,
